What areas do you specialize in?
My areas of specialization are ADHD, Autism, and Anxiety. Understanding the beautiful tapestry of different minds and helping people navigate their unique cognitive landscapes is my jam. Plus, I'm all about championing the LGBTQ2S+ community, with a particular focus within the transgender crowd. Gender identity is a deeply personal journey, and I'm here to provide a safe space for exploration, support, and empowerment. So, whether you're neurodivergent, transgender, or simply someone looking to embark on a path of self-discovery and growth, you've found a therapist who's ready to roll up her sleeves and dive into the wonderful complexities of your world.

What is your professional background?
I hold a Master's in Counseling Psychology from the City University of Seattle, graduating in 2023. My professional journey includes a transformative internship where I specialized in ADHD and Autism, fostering a deep understanding of neurodivergent experiences. This experience led me to the discovery of a meaningful overlap, inspiring me to extend my expertise to support transgender clients. Today, I proudly serve as both a neurodivergent and gender therapist, dedicated to creating inclusive and empathetic spaces for individuals on their unique paths of self-discovery and personal growth.

What can I expect in a session with you?
My approach is characterized by curiosity, allowing unstructured sessions that prioritize your narrative. Together, we'll embark on a conversational journey guided by your interests, fostering a genuine exploration of self.
In my therapeutic approach, I aim to create a comfortable and client-centered environment that's accessible to everyone. We'll draw from elements of Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to examine and reshape unhelpful thought patterns that may be holding you back. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) will come into play to help you embrace your emotions and values, guiding you toward meaningful life changes. Self-compassion will be a cornerstone, teaching you to treat yourself with kindness and understanding, just as you would a dear friend. And we'll work on building a strong and authentic sense of self, because knowing and accepting who you are is key. It's all about you and your unique journey, and I'm here to provide the support and tools you need to thrive.

What do you believe helps people to make changes or heal?
I believe authentic change and healing flourish in a non-judgmental space where individuals feel genuinely heard and understood. As a therapist, my passion and curiosity guide the process, fostering a collaborative environment. Convincing individuals to actively engage in the therapeutic journey, buy into the process, is key. This commitment, coupled with empathy and a supportive atmosphere, empowers individuals to explore, understand, and transform, promoting lasting change and holistic healing.
